About us

Draught Drop, the UK's first circular beer delivery service - bringing customers the highest quality local beers available, in a planet kind way. We are on a mission to transform the drink-at-home market in a way that is good for customers, society and the environment!

Working with over 20 independent breweries already - with more to be added, we deliver draught beer weekly in reusable/returnable bottles, all by electric bike. Enjoy your beer, give your bottle a quick rinse and swap it for a freshly filled one next time. Just like the milkman...but for beer!

We are currently available in North & East London, but with big expansion plans. We have just raised our first investment round, so join the team at this exciting time to help us scale the business and our impact on the world.

 

The role

You will be a key hire working directly with the co-founders in a fun and hard-working business that offers an exciting combination of work. As a senior member of the team you will have a lot of responsibility from day one and be crucial to successfully scaling the business!

Responsibilities will include:

  • Defining, shaping and implementing the end-to-end ecommerce strategy
  • Driving brand awareness through our social media channels & press
  • Developing the overall marketing calendar for the business (promotions, seasonal activity, content plan)
  • Driving all customer acquisition & retention channels (paid digital marketing, door drops, affiliates, CRM, email marketing, loyalty program etc.)
  • Managing the website experience including day to day merchandising, product and content uploads
  • Own customer care to ensure a fantastic customer experience
  • Managing and training members of the team and our extended team of subcontractors
  • Report and measuring KPI’s to continue driving growth
  • Being willing to roll up your sleeves and help in all areas of the business as needed!

Essential skills, experience and qualifications

Applicants must have:

  • excitement and passion about Draught Drop’s vision
  • a can-do attitude and ability to think outside the box
  • strong commercial acumen, a data driven and strategic approach
  • proven experience in paid digital marketing and CRM channels
  • a high degree of confidence using social media platforms (Instagram, twitter, Facebook)
  • excellent computer skills – email, excel, operations applications

 

Strong candidates will also have:

  • experience working in brewing, other food and drink, or the hospitality industry
  • experience working in ecommerce and delivery environments (experience on Shopify is a plus)
  • experience working in and delivering great customer service
  • strong management experience of team members and third parties
  • proven success in owning budgets

 

Work pattern

  • Our operations and office space are located in Leyton, East London, close to public transport and cycle highways
  • Core hours may include a blend of office hours and delivery windows
  • We will consider applications from candidates on a part-time or full-time basis
