ABOUT DRAUGHT DROP
Who are we?
We're two locals of Waltham Forest with a love of craft beer. We started Draught Drop because we wanted people to experience the amazing local breweries our borough has to offer with it's residents, in a way that's sustainable for our planet and importantly on draught! A lot has changed since then and now more than ever, we want to support our local breweries by delivering direct to customers through these difficult times.
How does it work?
Each week we bring you a different beer from one of our partner breweries. This is counterpressure filled straight from a keg to maximize freshness. Our growlers are completely reusable and thoroughly cleaned and santized between use.
How much beer will I get?
You will get 3.3 pints (1.89L) of beer each week in our growlers.
What beer will I get?
We're proud to be working with 16 local breweries and we'll bring a selection of light beers from them - IPA's, Pales, Lagers. These are announced on site the Friday a week before deliveries and on our instagram page @draughtdrop_official. We also send a weekly newsletter with further details, make sure you sign up at checkout to receive it.
- Waltham Forest - East London Brewing co., Gravity Well Brewing co., Pretty Decent Beer co., Neckstamper brewing, Pillars Brewery, Exale Brewing, Wild Card Brewery and Signature Brew.
- Hackney - The Five Points Brewin co., Hackney Church Brew co., 40FT Brewery, Forest Road Brewing co., Deviant & Dandy Brewery, Truman's Brewery, Hackney Brewery and Howling Hops.
Can I choose my beer?
Yes, we'll let you know in advance what the beer of the week is, you'll get that beer by default but if you don't fancy it we will offer you an alternative. Just look out on our weekly newsletter or get in touch if you'd like to switch.
If I order more than one beer can you give me a selection?
Yes, we'll get in touch to let you know what's available or you can leave to us to chose a selection from what's on tap.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to London postcodes in East London covering the majority of Waltham Forest and Hackney (E2, E3, E5, E8, E9, E10, E11, E17, E18 and N16).
We're expanding to North London (N4, N5, N6, N8, N10, N11, N13, N14, N15, N16, N17, N18, N19, N21, N22) on the 1st of October - you can pre-order here.
If we don't currently deliver to you, please feel free to register your interest here and we'll let you know if we do.
When do you ship?
All orders will be delivered weekly on Fridays in the below timeslots.
- North London (Pre-order for delivery 1st October) (N4, N5, N6, N8, N10, N11, N13, N14, N15, N16, N17, N18, N19, N21, N22): 2-5:30pm or 5:30-8:30pm (your first order will be automatically added to the later time slot and we will email you with availability to switch.
- Waltham Forest (E10, E11, E17): 2-5:30pm or 5:30-8:30pm (your first order will be automatically added to the later time slot and we will email you with availability to switch.
- Waltham Forest (E4): 2-5:30pm only
- Waltham Forest (E18): 6 -8:30pm only
- Hackney(E2, E3, E5, E8, E9, N16): 2-5:30pm or 5:30-8:30pm (your first order will be automatically added to the later time slot and we will email you with availability to switch.
How much does shipping cost?
Deliver costs £3.99 per drop and will be charged on a weekly basis as per your subscription. Unfortunately due to current circumstances with COVID-19 we are unable to offer free click and collect but this will be an option in future.
What if I'm not in?
If you are not going to be in to receive your delivery please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to reschedule or drop with a neighbour. Alternatively you can skip your subscription by logging into your account page on our website. You can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
PAYMENTS & SUBSCRIPTION
How much does subscription cost?
There is a weekly cost of £17 plus £3.99 per drop. The growler will be swapped each week or if you choose to leave or pause your subscription it will be yours to hold onto.
When will I be charged?
Your subscription will be charged weekly on a Tuesday.
Can I change the frequency of my delivery?
Yes, we offer weekly, fortnightly and monthly frequency options. You can also skip any deliveries you'd prefer not to receive, see how to do this below.
Can I skip or cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can skip or cancel your subscription at any time before the cut-off on Thursday by logging in and accessing your account page (which you will need to create if you didn't do this on your first checkout).
How do I skip a week?

When is your order cut-off for the same week?
All changes to existing orders must be made by Thursday for the same week. If you miss the slot just reach out and we'll see what we can do.
Do I need to prove my age to shop with you?
Absolutely. You will need to confirm when you enter our site that you are over 18 years of age and you will also be required to show valid ID on delivery.
What if I missed the cut-off?
Just get in touch with us a firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll see what we can do!
Can I opt in for a delivery if I wasn't due to get one or order more beer?
Yes! You can do any of this from your account and we send out a form on our weekly newsletter that you can fill in. We'll sort out the rest.
Can I order as a one-off?
If you've previously had a subscription with us you can contact us to order as a one-off or opt-in for a particular week.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
Can I request a refund?
If a product gets damaged or was faulty upon a delivery - we offer 100% refund. Please contact us at email@example.com. Because our beer is perishable we cannot offer a return or refund for any other reason.
If you missed the cut-off and won't be able to receive your delivery we will arrange a refund or postpone your delivery until your ready to receive it (as long as we haven't poured it yet).
Can I refund my growler?
We are not able to offer returns on growlers themselves for a refund if you didn't pay for it initially on sign up. You will be able to hold onto this and start up your subscription again at any time.
How do I return my growler
If you've decided to cancel your subscription and would like to return your growler we'll arrange a free collection for you. Please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org. We'd love to have as many of our growlers in circulation as possible if you have a good use for yours please feel free to hold onto!
How are you helping the planet?
Our ambition is to make beer delivery as green as possible. All our beer comes in reusable packaging so there is less waste and filled directly from kegs. Our deliveries are done by electric bike so are all emission free!
What's a growler?
A growler is reusable glass bottle used to transport beer. All our growlers are thoroughly washed and sanitized between uses.
